Who We Are

MuseWrite is four women (Michelle Duster, Cynthea Liu, Jen Cullerton Johnson and Trina Sotira) who love to create writing that makes an impact.

Between the four of us, we write children's and adult books.  Fiction and non-fiction.  The common denominator is that we all draw on some form of history in order to create our writing.  

We met at a literacy night at a Chicago west-side school in April 2009.  We hit it off immediately, and decided to get to know each other over a beer.  One thing led to another, and we gradually came up with the idea to organize a writing seminar that could help others create their work.

Four months later, Collect.  Recollect.  Connect! was born!
